You can download a copy the PCT’s Single Equality Scheme
The scheme details how the PCT will actively promote equality, diversity and human rights in its role as an employer and commissioner of health care for the people of East Sussex.
The scheme covers all six strands of equality and diversity; age, ethnicity, disability, religion and belief, gender, sexual orientation.
Implementation of the scheme should result in equal access to services for all groups and reduced health inequalities and better health outcomes for patients.
Single Equality Scheme Annual Action Plan
Each year we develop an action plan to help us deliver our commitment to promoting equality, diversity and human rights as stated in the Single Equality Scheme.
The plan is regularly updated to map progress against the stated actions.
Implementation of the plan is overseen by the Equality and Diversity Steering group
