I am trying to ascertain the use of meditation techniques in the NHS across the UK. I have placed a parliamentary question to the health minister who has informed me that this is a matter for local trusts. I believe that meditation has a role to improve both mental and physical health. I would like to know: - if meditation is used, encouraged, or promoted amongst your staff? - how many staff you have that are trained in meditation techniques? - how many patients have received meditative treatment? - is this number increasing or declining? - have you undertaken any research or assessment of the benefits of meditation?
