I would like to know how many cases of Tuberculosis have been reported to NHS Hastings and Rother PCT over the past two years, from all of the health centres under the Trust's jurisdiction. To be specific I would like information from the financial year 2008/9 and 2009/10. I would further like this broken down into; the health centres which provided the trust with the information. How many cases of drug resistant Tuberculosis have been reported to the trust, and which health centre has reported them? How many people has the trust given the BCG vaccination to over the past 12 months? Has the point of infection been identified in all of the cases of Tuberculosis reported to the trust? If so were most patients infected with Tuberculosis in the UK or abroad? If they were infected in the UK, where in the UK were they believed to be infected? I would be interested in any information held by your organisation regarding my request. I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and that it is the department’s responsibility to provide the information I required.

I would like to ask for information about the PCTs' actions with regards to the National Dementia Strategy and the National Audit Office report 'Improving Dementia Services in England - an interim report' published in January 2010.In a letter to PCT Chief Executives in March, NHS Chief Executive Sir David Nicholson outlined key areas that he expected PCTs to act on before the end of the first year of the strategy, 31 March 2010. Success in delivering high quality dementia services, said Sir David, was dependent on PCTs and Local Authorities prioritising this area in commissioning and working together as partners. My questions are as follows: 1. Has the PCT co-produced an action plan for dementia in its region (yes/no)? If yes, what are the details of this plan; if no, why? 2. The DoH allocated £60 million across PCTs to support the implementation of the strategy in 2009/10. How has the PCT spent its allocation? 3. I wish to make a request for information under the freedom of information act for the points below all relating to the PCTs policy or practice of prescribing branded generic drugs: 1) At what level the PCT has discussed the policy of using branded generic prescribing? 2)  At what level the PCT has discussed the distortion of geographical distribution of the global sum that will result from branded generic prescribing? 3) What assessment has the PCT made of the impact on local pharmacy services of the funding implications that branded generic prescribing will have? 4) How much does the PCT expect to save through branded generic prescribing in the financial year 2010/11? 5) Is the PCT considering using branded generic prescribing for any further lines? My query concerns the rollout of the Summary Care Record at your PCT. I'd be grateful if you could please tell me: a) On what date did the PCT begin contacting GP practices about the rollout, to ascertain their interest in taking part - or if this has not yet happened, what the latest estimate is for when this will take place? b) On what date were letters first sent to patients as part of the Public Information Programme (ie letters informing them that a Summary Care Record will be created for them unless they choose to opt out)?
