We are interested in obtaining the names of the GP's who are accredited with Special Interests so that we can keep our database in line with the PCT's. We are looking at the following areas of Special Interests - see attached letter, but would be very grateful, if you have any GPwSIs that are not on this list to help build a stronger database.

The Foundation for Women’s Health Research and Development (FORWARD) is undertaking a survey of women affected by female genital mutilation (FGM) on behalf of the Department of Health. This survey is collaboration with the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery at King’s College, London and the Royal College of Midwifery. This survey aims to increase knowledge of the numbers of women affected by FGM who access specialist health services in England. We are seeking your support to help bring about more awareness of this online survey which will be conducted throughout September for medical units in England. Would it be possible for you to provide me with an email contact list for all the maternity units and sexual health clinics under your PCT? The information would enable a greater outreach of the survey and would help administer the follow up process for efficiency.
