People in East Sussex will find it easier to get the information they want on local NHS services after the launch of a new website.
NHS Hastings and Rother (NHS HR) has unveiled a new easy to use site www.hastingsandrother.nhs.uk which is fully updated with the latest information on local health services.
As well as details of all the work being carried out by NHS HR to improve the health of local people and the services they use, the site also allows people to search for a GP, dentist or local pharmacy.
People can also get in touch with their comments and queries by using new online feedback forms.
Lisa Compton, director of Patient and Public Engagement for NHS HR, said:
“We are delighted to have launched our new website.
It is aimed at making it as easy as possible for people to find out more about their local NHS, from where their local GP surgery is, to what our long term strategies are for improving people’s health.
The website is one of the key ways in which we communicate with local people, keeping them up to date about the wide variety of work we do and getting their views and opinions on what they want from their local NHS.
I would encourage people to log on to www.hastingsandrother.nhs.uk and let us know what they think.”
The new NHS HR website will be developed over the coming months with plans in place to introduce a number of new features, including video content, in the future.
