A new 'Breast is Best” support group (BIBS) has started in Hailsham.
Sharon Paine, Public Health Coordinator, Children & Families for NHS East Sussex Community Health Services says,
“Breast feeding is well known to bring benefits to mums and babies but is not always easy.
The BIBS group is there to provide the opportunity for those expecting a baby and those breastfeeding to get together to share experiences”.
The weekly sessions now run every Thursday from 1pm-2.30pm at Dunbar Drive Children's Centre in Dunbar Drive
They are run by specially trained local mums and supported by NHS East Sussex Downs and Weald and East Sussex County Council.
