19 January 2010 - Local people invited to drop in as health centre arts project sets up gallery in former shop

The Station Plaza Health Centre arts project has found a temporary new home in a vacant shop in the centre of Hastings.

The arts scheme is aimed at creating a record of the move by five local GPs into the new £16 million building next to Hastings Train Station which is due to open in May 2010.

From the 26th of January a dedicated team of artists will be working out of the 'Nomad' temporary gallery in Wellington Place, next door to Jempsons Bakery.

They will stay in the formerly vacant shop until the 13th of February, allowing local people to drop in and see the work done so far, as well as attend a workshop, talk or discussion.

Full details are available via the project's websites at:

www.onetwoone.org.uk/pct or www.noticeboard121.org.uk
