Sharmila Nebhrajani
Sharmila joined NHS East Sussex Downs and Weald in October 2009.
She previously held senior roles in the media and communications industries over the last 15 years and was most recently Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director of BBC Future Media and Technology before moving to the NHS.
Sharmila has had several non-executive roles in the health sector, including as a board member of the Human Tissue Authority, as well as ten years as a non-executive director, and most recently Deputy Chair, of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority.
The Authority is the body which regulates and inspects Assisted Reproduction clinics in the UK.
She is also currently a Charity Commissioner.
