NHS East Sussex Downs and Weald (NHS ESDW) has responsibility for assessing the oral health needs of local people.
The Department of Health’s Oral Health Plans for England, 'Choosing Better Oral Health' and 'Delivering Better Oral Health' have helped guide and assist NHS ESDW in commissioning dental services to meet these needs and ensure that appropriate dental care is available to improve the oral health of people in the East Sussex Downs and Weald area.
