NHS Sussex wants to improve the non-urgent Patient Transport Service (PTS). This is the service offered to help people get to healthcare appointments with community and hospital care providers. It does not include urgent ambulance journeys.
To improve this service NHS Sussex are inviting patients, the public, clinicians and providers to have their say on the future of the service to ensure a redesigned model meets their expectations.
We aim to have a new service specification drafted by September 2011. It is important to us that the improved service meets the needs of those who use it, we would really appreciate your thoughts on what works, what doesn’t and what is most important to you.
